Women live more than men and have better mental health because their brain is about three years younger than men, according to a recent study of 84 men and 121 women with positron emission tomography to measure the speed of change brain or the flow of oxygen and sugar in the brain.
The brain uses sugar as fuel to function like other organs in the body and exposes how sugar consumes much more than the age of the brain.
According to a study published by the National Academy of Sciences, participants were between the ages of 30 and 80, and women's brains were younger than men's in terms of throughput and consumption. Compared to men, the brain of these was 2.4 times higher than their actual age.
"This does not mean that men's brains are faster than women's, but they reach the age of three years before women, which lasts all their life," said Mano Goyal, badistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Washington.
Researchers are hoping to see if brain differences are preventing women who want better results from cognitive testing, memory and problem solving in old age.
