Ahmed Al-Nefawi, a former player of the Saudi national football team and Al Hilal football club, died today at the age of 60 after a long career in Saudi football.
He was one of the pillars of the Al-Wehda club before moving to Al Hilal in the mid-1980s.
He has also represented Saudi Arabia on more than one occasion, including in qualifying for the World Cup in Riyadh in 1981.
Ahmed Al-Nefawi created his own academy with the aim of training young people to continue his love of football after his retirement.
