The Earth has "swallowed" another planet. So the moon!

A recent astronomical study suggested that an old collision led to the formation of the moon, which brought the necessary ingredients to the emergence of life on Earth. According to Space, an object similar to Mars touched Earth 4.4 billion years ago, sending the moon to the orbit of the planet we live on today.

It is likely that this collision provided the planet with the materials necessary for the emergence of life, such as carbon, nitrogen and sulfor, and according to one study, the Earth was at that time, such as Mars today but the collision that triggered this radical change.

According to this theory, a special type of meteorite called "carbon conglomerates" collided with the Earth, and then gave the substance "silica" necessary for interaction and the emergence of life.

Scientists attribute this view to a correlation between found meteorites, nitrogen and carbon levels, and are therefore the source of life-creating elements, according to their studies.
