The board of directors of the Egyptian Football Federation announced that it would choose between four coaches for its team and formed a committee of specialists to choose one, replacing Hector Cooper, who has finished his contract with the Pharaohs in the first round of the 2018 World Cup.

The union wrote in a tweet via Twitter that it formed a committee of former international players Majdi Abdel Ghani and Hazem Imam and former international referee Issam Abdel Fattah to study the position of the new coach of the team.

The Commission will select one of four coaches: the Colombian Jorge Luis Pinto, the Spanish Kiki Flores, the Mexican Javier Aguirre and the V Vile Halilodzic Vajil.

The Egyptian Federation thanked last month the Argentine coach Hector Cooper for "the end of his work", the day after the release of the "Pharaohs" of the World Cup in Russia.

Cooper takes over in 2015 and leads Egypt to the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations 2017 in Gabon, losing to Cameroon in his first tournament participation after an absence since 2010 when he wins the title for the third time.
