Minister of Health: 17 dead and 32 wounded in the explosion of the Institute of Oncology
In a statement to Extra News, Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health, confirmed that 42 patients had been evacuated from the Institute of Oncology and had been transferred to Al-Munira Hospital, at the Nbader Institute and Kasr Al-Aini Hospital. Seriously injured, as well as 17 cases of average injury, and most injuries, burns, in addition to five pieces.
And that most of the cases have been collected at the Nbader Institute to facilitate follow-up and avoid the dispersal of their loved ones, especially in case of confusion of people injured after the accident.
The minister confirmed that a number of wounded have gone to Kasr al-Aini hospital for treatment, that medical care has been provided and that their health is stable.
The Minister offered his condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.
