People with special needs and their families in the north cut the road leading to the municipality of Al-Mina, a maritime highway. This was to protest against the removal of handicapped people's stalls from the Corniche and the non-fulfillment of the promises to hire them in the municipality.
The sit-in caused traffic jams in the square and demonstrators waved slogans saying "We need our right" "Discharge is not a solution" "No to intimidation of people with special needs" .
