The football league has just confirmed in a statement that the Disciplinary Committee of the African Football Confederation (CAF) will review Wednesday, August 7 the final of the African Champions League between Esperance and Wydad.

The Disciplinary Committee of the African Union (AU) sent Sunday 2 August 2019 two letters to the Tunisian Football Federation and the Tunisian Football Federation:

Referring to the partial decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) of 31 July 2019 on the record of the dispute published between Wydad Casablanca, Esperance and the African Football Confederation and the decision to annul the decision of the executive committee of the CAF published on June 5, 2019 relating to the issue Disciplinary Committee of the Confederation of African Football For its examination, we inform you that a file has been opened with the risk of non-compliance with the provisions chapters 82, 83 and 151 of the disciplinary journal.

In order to preserve all your rights, the Disciplinary Committee would like the Tunisian Football Federation to provide full support, payment and written position by August 6, 2019.

The Disciplinary Committee also invited the head of Tunisian sport and all parties involved to participate in the meeting of the Disciplinary Committee of the African Football Confederation (AU), to be held on August 7, 2019.
