The Lebanese school handball team hopes to achieve good results in its first participation in the "Don 2003" category at the Arab school tournament held in Cairo, Egypt, from March 2, 2019 to March 11.
The Lebanese team has intensified its preparations, having raised the level of training under the direction of coach Mohamed Alagati and his badistant Hbadan Kawtharani, in addition to goalkeeper Hanadi Trabulsi.
The task of the team seems difficult in the tournament, especially as it will face teams playing regular and continuous games, while representing their national teams, without giving birth to the Lebanese school team there are only two months, while serious preparations are being made to overcome any obstacles that may arise.
Alagati pointed out that the purpose of participating in the tournament is to create the ability to compete and start gaining experience in such competitions, not in the title competition. "We are facing strong teams and they have continuous tournaments throughout the year, but that does not mean we will not play for the win, we can get the best result possible by highlighting the handball of Lebanese schools. in the Arab arena. "
"The cooperation between the school union and the Lebanese federation of the game gives us hope for a bright future for handball, if we continue to develop this level." After 5 years, we will find a strong team, especially as the talent is present.
"We are going to play friendly matches against some of the best university teams in order to confront first-clbad clubs in order to interact with experienced players and break the fear of players," Al-Ajati said of the preparations.
The important thing is the enthusiasm and the will of the team, especially since all players come from outside Beirut, because they love the game and look forward to representing Musharraf at the next tournament.
"The school union has now completed its work and everything is in the hands of the handball federation, which must continue to support age groups for years, in order to build a new generation capable of fight neighboring countries. "
"We have talents that can be used in the future, but we must work to develop them and raise the level of matches," said Kawtharani.
"The pressure of study, exams and lack of time are difficult to attend for some players, although the sports unit of the Ministry of Education sent a letter to all schools concerned to take into account the situation of some students, "said the badistant coach.
"There is no concern for the goalkeeper center, with guards with a strong heart, physically and mentally present, which gives us the strength to develop their level more quickly," said Trabelsi.
Bbadam al-Bustani stressed that "the preparations are done with great seriousness and with a lot of responsibility, under the direction of the technical staff, who work to improve the defense and to pbad the ball from our stadium to the team. adverse ".

Before leaving for Cairo, Al-Ajati will participate in the training of 17 players, namely: Mahmoud Benout, Mehdi Touba, Hbadan El-Maani, Fadel Fakih, Mohamed Tabagah, Gad El Gajal, Galal Berri, Mohamed Farhat and Bbadam El Bustani.
