Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, visited Saturday morning in the Port Said governorate to monitor the pilot operation of the new comprehensive health insurance system.
The Minister currently chairs the Operations and Emergencies Room of the new Health Insurance Building, which operates 24 hours a day to determine household registration rates in system units and monitor the rate of operation hospitals to overcome potential barriers.
It will inspect a number of family medicine hospitals and units, which form the core of the new family file opening system, as well as follow-up field work, to ensure better medical service to patients.
It should be noted that the experimental operation of the new comprehensive health insurance was launched in the governorate of Port Said on July 1 and will last two months.
