The Department of Medicines and Pharmacy of the Ministry of Health has denied what was published about the withdrawal of the drug "Amlaxicillin acid clavolanic" pharmacies.

In a statement issued Friday, August 2, the management described the "withdrawal of drug" as a "drug" "pharmacy" with "inaccuracies and fabrications that undermine the reputation of the quality of drugs in Morocco", claiming that she "never ordered the withdrawal of a drug" of 100 mg / 12.5 mg (60 ml vial) and no other type of product in pharmacy.

She pointed out that Moroccan pharmacies had not received any notification inviting them not to distribute the medicine in question to patients and not even to return all available quantities of the same medicine to pharmaceutical distribution institutions.

The same source indicated that the Directorate for Drugs, after conducting all its immediate and badytical investigations through its national drug control laboratory and pharmacy inspection, confirmed that the drug had no quality problem, stressing that it continuously guaranteed Drugs marketed in Morocco.

The Directorate of Drugs and Pharmacy strongly condemned the publication of such "false news", adding that she reserved the right to resort to the activation of all legal and judicial procedures.
