LONDON (Reuters) – Lucas Hernandez, the most expensive player in the history of the Bundesliga, hopes to make his Bayern Munich debut in Germany Cup after recovering from injury .
"I'm working for that (the first participation) and hope to score my first official appearance in the first game," said Hernandez, winner of the 2018 World Cup with France.
Bayern Munich start the defense of the title of the Cup, which was crowned last May, against the team of fourth division Energy Cottbus, tomorrow. Hernandez joined Bayern Munich after leaving Atletico Madrid for a contract worth 80 million euros ($ 90 million).
