The NBA star refuses to travel for fear of being murdered by Battalion spies

The American tennis star, Ince Kanter, refused to travel to London with his New York Knicks for fear of being murdered by "Turkish spies".

The New York Knicks have to travel to London to play a game against the Washington Wizards, USA Today reported.

The Romanian authorities had arrested the player for hours in one of the country's airports, during his last trip to the United States outside the United States.

Kanter is the most prominent Turkish basketball player in the NBA competition. Kanter never concealed his ties with Fathullah Gulen and broke his relationship with his family after the coup attempt in Turkey.

For its part, Turkey has issued an arrest warrant against him and revoked his pbadport.

"Unfortunately, I'm not going (to London) because of this strange mood, the Turkish president, it's possible that I'm being murdered there," he told reporters.

Kanter explained that Turkey had many spies in London, adding, "I think it can be easily killed there."
