Italian coach Mauricio Sari confirmed that he would be delighted to see the departure of Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard when he plans to join Real Madrid.
"He has to do it, Eden is 28 and he wants to leave, I think it is," Sari said in a statement reported by Spanish newspaper Marca on Wednesday.
"Of course, I hope the opposite will happen, I hope he stays here, he has the ability to be the best player in Europe right now. "
Hazzard's contract with Chelsea ends in 2020 and the Belgian star has expressed more than once his desire to join Real Madrid.
"If Real Madrid wants to hire me, they know what they have to do," Hazard said.
Hazzard almost moved to Real after the end of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, but the deal was unsuccessful and allowed the Belgian star to stay within the walls of Stamford Bridge, the fortress of Chelsea, who joined his ranks in 2012 and has scored this season 13 goals in 29 games.
