A hundred firefighters, supported by police and dozens of volunteers, continued to search for potential victims in the flooded area.

A spokeswoman for the agency Stavrola Malirey said the firefighters had received "dozens of contacts" from people looking for their loved ones.

Hundreds of engineers from the Ministry of Transportation and the region began to record the damage.

"I fear that there are other victims and missing persons, especially the elderly," said Marion Tsagarakis, councilor in Ravenna.

Of the 187 people admitted to hospitals, 82 were still on treatment Tuesday night, 10 of them in serious condition and 11 without worrying.
