The French club Nantes announced Wednesday its contract with Fabio, the former English midfielder for three seasons.
Fabio, 28, grew up in Fluminense before starting his very young professional career with Manchester United in 2008.
He also occupied Queens Park Rangers Maara and Cardiff City before joining Middlesbrough in 2016. He played 80 Premier League games and 72 seconds (Champions League).
Fabio also played 16 games in the Champions League under the colors of the Red Devils, especially in the 2010-2011 season when United reached the final.
