The organizing committee of the Africa Cup invites Infantino to participate in the draw

The organizing committee of the African Cup of Nations, organized by Egypt, has decided to formally invite FIFA President Gianni Infantino to participate in the draw in Cairo.

The African championship organizing committee, chaired by the president of the Egyptian Football Federation, Hani Abu Reda, has confirmed the selection of the historic pyramids of Giza to receive the draw, l '' inviting to encourage tourism and to present to the world the effects of Egypt.

The organizing committee explained that Invantino would be invited to the draw with Ahmed Ahmed, President of the African Union, several celebrities from the Federation and the heads of the 24 teams participating in the next edition for the first time from his story after the increase in the number of teams.

The African Union emergency committee decided to postpone the tournament for one week due to a delay in the preparation of the tournament of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, which will begin on June 21 and end on July 19, 2019.

Egypt got the right to organize the tournament after Cameroon apologized and overtook South Africa by 16 votes to one for South Africa.
