The routes via the camera in Google Maps are now available for Android and iPhone

Google announced the provision of Live View functionality to Google Maps users for Android and iPhone, a feature provided by phone users. How to use Live View in Google Maps?

• Find or tap a place you want to browse on the map.
• Click the directions button at the bottom.
• Select Walk Directions at the top of the screen.
• Tap the new Live View option at the bottom of the screen.

Google has announced that the new feature to get instructions via the phone's camera in Google Maps supports Android devices that support ARcore software and iPhones that support ARKit. This feature will be progressively available this week in cities and countries with Street View functionality.
