The S & P 500 closed slightly higher after recovering thanks to bond yields

NEW YORK (Reuters) – The initial Standard & Poor's 500 indexes (S & P 500) rebounded slightly on Wednesday after posting strong losses.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed the session down 22.45 points, or 0.09%, to 26,007.07, while the Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 2.21 points, or 0.08%, at 2 883.98.

The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 29.56 points, or 0.38%, to 7,862.83.
