Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will host the Copa Libertadores final between Boca Juniors and River Plate Argentina on 9 December.

Spanish media reports that the Santiago Bernabeu stadium embraces the final of the century between River Plate and Boca Juniors, while all parties have agreed to wait for the approval of Boca Juniors, according to the Euro Sport Network ".

The South American Football Confederation (CONAmipol) officially announced on Tuesday the Copa Libertadores final between Argentina's Boca Juniors and River Plate.

The match will be held on December 8 and 9, outside Argentina, the federation announced.

The match was scheduled for Saturday night at River Plate Stadium, but river fans staged a riot that delayed the meeting.

River Plate supporters fired bottles and stones at the Boca Juniors bus, causing the bus window to fall and several injured. Police also fired gas bombs at several Boca Juniors players.

The scoreless game at Boca Juniors' Bombonera Stadium ended in a 2-2 draw for each team, with tournament rules taking advantage of extra-terrestrial goals.
