The US space agency has announced that the freighter "Signos", which moored to the International Space Station last April, separated from it on August 6, after being charged with consumables.

According to the US Space Agency "NASA", the spacecraft's second mission will officially begin 24 hours after its separation from the International Station, where it will launch Wednesday, August 7 a number of small satellites.

A month later, NASA plans to test the inspection vehicle Seeker Robotic External CubeSat, designed to examine the outer surface of an unmanned spaceship. A small probe will fly around the Signus and take pictures of its outer surface and send it to the computer installed in the vehicle, which will then send it to the Earth.

Signos will also conduct a series of experiments in orbit, including a demonstration of the ability of its Northrop Grumman to operate simultaneously with two spacecraft of the same type in orbit.

The mission is scheduled to end on December 11, 2019 and will burn after all the experiments as it crosses the Earth's atmosphere.
