The turnover of German hotels increases in the first half

Revenues for the German hotel sector rose 2.7% year – on – year in the first half of the year, the Federal Statistical Office said Friday.

The Federal Statistical Office said that after calculating the rise in prices, the real increase in revenue was 0.5%.

On the other hand, the sector's real incomes, which have long benefited from a recovery in consumption, fell by 0.7% in June.

The survey included hotel companies with a turnover of at least 150,000 euros a year.
