The WHO Regional Meeting on Health for All has been completed today.

The World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Consultative Meeting on Primary Health Care and Family Medicine will be held today in Cairo to cover all 22 countries in the Middle East. East. Representatives from all countries will meet from July 30th to Thursday. August 1, to achieve comprehensive health coverage for all citizens of these countries.

Dr Awad Mataria, Acting Director of the Department of Health Systems and Head of Comprehensive Health Coverage, delivered a speech on behalf of Dr Ahmed Al-Manthari, Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean, stressing the importance of coverage comprehensive sanitation for all citizens of the different countries of the Eastern Mediterranean Region.

He said that this meeting was the first regional workshop on primary health care to achieve universal coverage, aimed at improving primary health care and raising the level of health desired by all by filling the gaps in health services and health. by not neglecting anyone.

Following the Astana Conference, the main event of the global effort to promote primary health care and its Astana Declaration, WHO, UNICEF and other partners renewed their commitment to improve primary health care. With a special focus on family medicine.

Representatives of the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean region attended the regional workshop. He emphasized that the organization was seeking to ensure health for all and primary health care for all people in different countries of the world, stressing that the meeting aimed to cooperate to make primary health care accessible to all. , Child care and women, as primary health care, are the key to life.

Representatives from Yemen, Somalia, Palestine, Morocco, Libya, Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, Bahrain, Afghanistan, from Iran, Jordan and Lebanon attended the meeting.
