The world now – Baalbek honors "The planet of the East" the 70th anniversary of the rise of its stands

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the inauguration of the Lady of the Arabian singing in the stands of the Temple of Jupiter, the castle of the ancient city Baalbek Solar opened its international celebrations to the East planet, Umm Kulthum. On the stands of the Bacchus Temple, in front of 3,400 spectators, Umm Kulthum gave three concerts in the relic of the archaeological citadel in 1966, 1968 and 1970. In addition to the Lebanese National Music Orchestra, the two Egyptian singers Mai Farouk and Marwa Naji performed a series of songs. This concert is the result of an Egyptian-Lebanese collaboration with the composer and conductor Hisham Gabr. The two artists moved between "Tomorrow I will tell you," "You are love," "I wait," "Thousand and one nights," and "Oh Mehsarni."
