A recent medical study found that daily consumption of bananas helps protect the human body from strokes and fatal heart attacks.
Researchers at the University of Alabama have stated that potbadium, which is abundant in banana fruits, eliminates arteries from harmful deposits that accumulate over time.
The researchers studied the fruit from a sample of mice at high risk of heart attack.
The results showed that low potbadium mice had arterial problems, whereas potbadium-rich rats were healthier.
The study showed that mice that ate a lot of potbadium did not show hardening of the arteries and did not suffer from serious heart muscle disorders.
Despite the importance of bananas, however, the proliferation of these fruits can lead to stomach pain, diarrhea and nausea.
She pointed out that UK public health services consume 3,500 milligrams of potbadium per day, but two bananas contain only a quarter.
To compensate for this shortage, experts give their opinion on the demand for other foods such as potatoes, black broccoli, fish and poultry.
