German authorities said that a bomb dating back to World War II had been deactivated after being found at Volkswagen's headquarters in Wolfsburg.
The city authorities, on its Twitter page, said the bomb had defused her on Sunday during lunch breaks. Four thousand people within a radius of one kilometer, the area in the center of Wolfsburg, were evacuated as a precaution.
