LONDON (Reuters) – Tottenham beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 in the first round of the Premier League.

Harry Kane opened the scoring for Tottenham just three minutes from leading the Premier League with Jaime Pierre Emeryk Obamyang (Arsenal) with 14 goals apiece and a goal from Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah.
Denmark's Christian Eriksen added the second goal to Tottenham in the 12th minute before South Korea's Hyung Min-Soon finished in the 23rd minute.
Tottenham advanced to 48 points in second place and Cardiff lost 18 points in 16th.
Tottenham has a point over Manchester City, third, who will face Liverpool on Thursday with 54 points.
