The AFC referees' committee has chosen Uzbek referee Ravshan Irmatov to lead the final of the 2018 Asian Cup between Japan and Qatar on Friday.
Uzbek referee Ravshan Irmatov is one of Asia's most famous referees and has played in many matches in the World Cup and World Cup finals. He is the first referee to lead two finalists in 2006 and 2008.
Ravshan continued his success and became the first referee on the yellow continent. He has been nominated by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to handle many important matches of the Asian League or the Asian Champions League.
