The Al-Wahda team of the United Arab Emirates has bid farewell to the ongoing edition of the AFC Champions League after its defeat to Saudi Arabia's Al-Nasr, who reached the quarter-finals with Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad.
Al Wahda was the only Emirati representative in the final prize, but he said goodbye to the competition after his first tournament loss against Al Nasr.
Al Wahda drew 1-1 in Saudi Arabia, but lost 3-2 to the UAE to end his career in the Champions League in the final match.
Ahli Jeddah was the first Saudi team to qualify for the competition after defeating Al Hilal 3: 4, while neighbors Al Ittihad defeated Zob Ahn 6-4.
Ittihad Jeddah, Al Nasr and Al Hilal have continued the success of Saudi clubs in the Asian Championship and have booked three places in the top eight of the competition.
