Wall Street opens down against geopolitical and commercial tensions

(Reuters) – US stocks opened lower on Tuesday, following a global reluctance against risky badets, as investors were plagued by geopolitical tensions and feared a recession following the long American-Chinese trade war.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average <.DJI> was down 8.83 points, or 0.03%, to 25,888.88.

The Standard & Poor's Index 500 <.SPX> lost 2.37 points, or 0.08%, to 2,880.72. The Nasdaq composite index <.IXIC> lost 8.04 points, or 0.10%, to 7,855.37.
