The disciplinary committee of the Algerian Football Federation has decided to suspend Hisham Sherif Wazzani, of the MCA, after proving the existence of banned substances, a few days before the match against Mars in the quarterfinals of the Zayed Cup.
Al-Wazzani's sample, withdrawn after the Youth League game on Thursday in the 18th round of the Algerian league, was positive and the committee decided to suspend him temporarily until his participation in a hearing on January 30 .
Mouloudia, third in the standings, did not comment on the decision to stop the player.
The sample was examined by the Swiss laboratory of Lausanne accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
