SHARJAH, March 24 (Reuters)

In its first-ever report on the health of migrants and refugees in Europe, the World Health Organization (WHO) had warned that they could get sick because of the poor living conditions in the countries of the world. And their inability to receive health care.

Poor living conditions also increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke and cancer, the WHO said.

According to the report, a large proportion of immigrants and refugees with HIV / AIDS were infected after arriving in Europe.

Contrary to popular belief, the risk of transporting refugees and migrants to infectious diseases is much lower.
