Coach Hussam Hbadan and his badistant, Pyramids, were sacked after a draw against Zamalek with three goals each in the Egyptian league on Thursday night.
Hossam did not know the taste of defeat against the Pyramids, but the technical director followed up with accusations of failure and his departure came after the advisor of Turki Al-Sheikh, owner of the club and head of entertainment in Saudi Arabia, has been criticized.
In the following report, Erm News examines the performance of Hossam Hbadan with Pyramids:
86 days without defeat
Hossam Hbadan left Pyramids after a 86-day career in the team after leaving the Egyptian club Al-Borseidi.
Hossam led Pyramids after 11 games in which he won 6 wins, including Al Ahly, and drew 5 against Zamalek, Al-Harbi, Masri, Wadi Degla and Anby.
Hossam Hbadan has consumed 27 players but Nabil Emad Dunga remains the most active player on the team, playing every game in a matter of minutes.
Kino Retreat
One of the reasons for Hossam Hbadan's departure was influenced by the performance of some stars, notably the Brazilian Marcos Keno, who declined his individual performance under the instruction of Hossam Hbadan to resume the role of defender.
Keno and Hossam Hbadan suffered a bit, scoring two goals in 10 games under his guidance, in exchange for seven goals in 11 games before the twins left.
Former Zamalek actor Abdel-Halim Ali told "Erm News" that Keno did not fit well with Hossam Hbadan's approach, perhaps because he tended to play the role or the individual.
"It was clear that Keno had not had his best season with Hossam Hbadan and was more physically focused."
Defense errors
The team suffered defensive errors that led to 12 goals in 11 games, which hurt Pyramids.
Medhat Abdel Hadi, the former Zamalek defender, told "Erm News" that Pyramids had suffered a great defense and had not found the appropriate way to balance defense and offensive.
"Pyramids played very aggressively, but he receives goals as a result of easy occasions, which affects the level of the team."
Enthusiasm or tactics?
Turki Al-Sheikh, the club's owner, confirmed that the team was playing enthusiastically without tactics, which angered Hossam Hbadan and his twin coach Ibrahim.
Ibrahim Hbadan confirmed that the pyramids had provided great levels under the guidance of the twins and that there was no disagreement about the level of the team.
