Why not visit the selected Geagea?

In the daily Al-Jumhuriya, George Hayek wrote: Many wonder why the leader of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, does not visit the country, especially after the Qabrishmoun incident, which left fears and fears among some Christians. The visit is neither excluded nor exceptional: it can take place at any time, even if it takes a good moment to exercise political influence to confirm the strategic alliance that began with reconciliation in the mountains and continues to this day.

It has recently been reported that Geagea will visit the selection as part of a visit to the Chouf on the occasion of the anniversary of the reconciliation. In the absence of information confirming or refusing a visit of this type, we review the following points:

First, it does not appear that strategic allies such as Samir Geagea and Walid Jumblatt need to start a meeting, because the communication is in full swing and the visit can take place at any time. They do not need to confirm the nature of the relationship that unites them. Between the elected and the ma-ab and there is no need to manufacture them.

Secondly, the chief of the forces does not want his visit to be Chouf in response to the visit of Minister Gebran Bbadil. If it is necessary to visit the Chouf, it will be in a natural setting such as Zahle, for example, because there is an important base of forces in the Shouf, and so will not enter in the game of sizes and in the context of the answers at this level, especially after the appearance appeared Basil in the Chouf.

Thirdly, any visit to Dja J will be the affirmation of the reconciliation that some have tried to shake, such as the continuation of the reconciliation that culminated in 2001 at the end of Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir, backed by the forces and d other political forces, including Walid Jumblatt.

Whatever the challenges, this reconciliation can not be shaken: it is continuous, firm and lasting. This visit will contribute to the establishment of reconciliation and all other reconciliations in the context of the emphasis on the Taif Agreement, the implementation of the Constitution and the development of coexistence, including the establishment of the current state in Lebanon, return to war and sectarian divisions.

Fourthly, any such visit takes place in the context of the strategic alliance that brings together the socialist, the future and the forces, that is to say, who adheres to the Lebanese constants believed by the three powers, who are great national constants.

Fifthly, both sides insist that the visit should not be directed against one of the internal elements, nor for a local political job, but in the context of supporting Jumblatt and the confirmation of the political authority of the national unit Druze and Druze.

It's no secret that he is tied to the security conditions of Ja? Ja and Jumblatt, who must determine the appropriate time to carry them out, although the priority for them today is the return of the Council of Ministers, because what is happening is a national crime. Efforts and work of the Government and follow-up on matters related to the financial situation and the 2019 budget and the follow-up to the Cedar Conference and the need for Lebanon to manage and translate the promised investments, and to put the 2020 budget on the table, which is perhaps more necessary and urgent than the "important" visit. Most important in these difficult circumstances.
