The Free agency is in over a month, but the Los Angeles Lakers have already signed their first big signing of the summer. On Friday, the team officially announced that she would bring back Judy Seto. Seto has been the chief physiotherapist of the team from 2011 to 2016 and is famous for his close collaboration with Kobe Bryant.
However, Seto does not return to the Lakers to become a physical therapist. This time, she will be the team's Director of Sport Performance, a new position created specifically for her. Here is more information about the new Seto concert thanks to the press release sent by the team on Friday:
The Los Angeles Lakers have hired Judy Seto, DPT, SCS, OCS, CSCS, MBA, PES, CES, as Director of Sports Performance, was announced today. Seto will report to Chief Executive Rob Pelinka and oversee medical care and optimize the health and performance of Lakers players.
After the announcement of Seto's return, she was greeted by old and new faces. First, LeBron James sent a tweet to welcome Seto.
James will probably not work much with Seto because he prefers to work with his right arm Mike Mancias, but it was still a nice gesture.
Shortly after, Pau Gasol sent a tweet to congratulate Seto. Gasol and Seto worked together for three years.
No one needed more evidence that Gasol was the nicest person in the NBA – and probably the whole world – but he still gave it to us.
