There were a limited number of fans in Atlanta, Georgia on Monday night due to the coronavirus pandemic, but that didn’t seem to stop Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James from arguing with some on the sidelines.
According to a video of the incident posted to Twitter, the Hecklers appeared jaw-dropping with James during the fourth quarter of the game between the Lakers and the Atlanta Hawks, which led to the referees stopping play and involving safety.
The fans in question are believed to be two women who were escorted from State Farm Arena. One of them gave the middle finger on the way out, according to Athletic’s Chris Kirschner.

James appeared to get rid of the incident, scoring 21 points, as the Lakers beat the Hawks 107-99.
“At the end of the day I’m happy the fans are back in the building,” James said. after the game. “I miss that interaction … As players, we need this interaction.”
Last week, a Cleveland Cavaliers executive celebrated a missed shot by James late in the third quarter during a game between the Lakers and the Cavs. James would explode in the 4th quarter, leading his team to a 115-108 victory in the contest.
