Lebron James is impressed after the Hummer EV tour

You might remember back in January when Lebron James posted a video of him checking out the GMC Hummer EV Edition 1. Now it is possible to see this from another point of view as GMC now has a clip showing it checking out the same pearl-colored example from the upcoming electric pickup.

James seems very impressed with the new Hummer. He calls her a “beast” and describes her as “so futuristic but so daring at the same time”. James can even drive the truck, but only until it leaves the garage and down the driveway, as it is a pre-production vehicle.

As a GMC brand ambassador, it’s safe to expect James to be among the first in the country to grab the Hummer EV Edition 1. In the video, he promises people will see him behind the wheel. at his home in Ohio and around Los Angeles.

Edition 1 has an asking price of $ 112,595, and all reservations for them are already gone. They come exclusively in this white exterior and a Lunar Horizon interior. These vehicles benefit from all the available features such as Super Cruise, the Infinity roof with removable panels, adaptive air suspension and underbody armor.

With three electric motors, the Hummer EV develops approximately 1,000 horsepower (746 kilowatts) and 800 pound-feet (1,085 Newton-meters). The range should be over 350 miles and running at 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) could be as low as three seconds.

If you want a Hummer EV and you don’t have a reservation for Edition 1, you have to wait until fall 2022 to purchase the truck. The EV3X model will however have most of the same features, such as three electric motors, adaptive suspension and CrabWalk. The twin-engine EV2X arrives in spring 2023, and the base EV2 finally joins the lineup in spring 2024.
