When attacking halfback Veon Bell will play his first game as Jet on Sunday, it will be the 63rd match of his career. And it will almost certainly do something that no player in the history of the NFL has done in his first 63 games.

Bell is about to reach 8,000 career yards after the scrum and in so doing will be the fastest player of all time. Bell currently has 7,996 yards at the start of the scrum, so he'll likely be in the lead of 8,000 at the first touchdown.

Eric Dickerson currently has the distinction of the fastest player at 8,000 yards in the scrum. Dickerson made it to his 64th match.

After Dickerson, Edgerrin James and LaDainian Tomlinson (65 games), Jim Brown (67 games) and Marcus Allen (68 games) were the fastest.
