Leffen Immediately Releases 2 Different Tier Lists For PC And PlayStation Versions Of Guilty Gear Strive After Winning Evo 2021

Earlier today, TSM |Leffen won the European Guilty Gear Strive tournament for Evo 2021, an online event. He managed to do so while being the only Chipp player in the bracket top 16.

Almost immediately after his prestigious win, Leffen then took to Twitter to post a tier list for Guilty Gear Strive. In fact, he released two tier lists for the game. One is for the PC version of the game while the other is for the PlayStation 4. The main difference between these two versions is the input lag which is present on the PlayStation 4.

It probably won’t surprise anyone, but Leffen listed Sol Badguy as the strongest character in the game on both tier lists. A single wrong move against the Guilty Gear protagonist will usually result in a round loss, as the character is capable of various death combos.

Leo Whitefang and May were both listed as the second and third best characters on both tier lists. They can be found in the S + level category of Leffen’s lists.

What’s interesting is that Leffen thinks his main character, Chipp, is actually stronger on the PlayStation 4 version, but he’s still viable anyway. While Chipp is under Ramlethal in the S level category while playing on PC, he has actually moved up to an S + level position on Nagoriyuki and Ramlethal on the PlayStation 4.

Whichever version of the game you play, it looks like Faust, Anji Mito, and Godlewis Dickinson are the worst characters in the game right now. Notably, these characters didn’t perform particularly well in Evo 2021, so Leffen’s analysis seems logical.
