Dodger thrower Julio Urias was arrested in front of a Los Angeles mall on Monday night for suspected local battery, a Los Angeles police spokesman told TODAY Sports USA.

Police responded to a story about a dispute in a Beverly Center car park at around 7:30 pm Urias, 22, was arrested and transported to downtown Los Angeles by police. He was booked for a misdemeanor and the bail was set at $ 20,000, according to Los Angeles police.

Urias' arrest comes shortly after Addison Russell returned to the Chicago Cubs last week, after being suspended for 40 games for violating the domestic violence policy in Major League Baseball when his ex -woman had detailed allegations of abuse with MLB officials.

The old prospect had been shifted from the starting rotation to the office in mid-April and had recorded his second stoppage in five days on Monday.
