Former President Trump on Sunday criticized the Democratic Party for endangering women’s sport by allowing trans athletes to compete with biological women.
Trump stressed that “we owe the integrity of women’s sport”:

Trump’s call to protect women’s health and their athletic achievements from damage or corruption from biological men infiltrating their sports has sparked a widespread backlash from liberal elites in politics, entertainment and the media:

PBS White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor decided to ignore the health and well-being of female athletes by trying to turn Trump’s comments into an attack on the transgender community.
Former President Trump has sharply criticized transgender women participating in female sports.
During his tenure, he repeatedly restricted the rights of transgender Americans. Many have criticized him as being transphobic.
