Yesterday Ubisoft announced that Watch Dogs LegionOnline mode on PC has been delayed indefinitely due to serious bugs that need to be fixed. And parts of console multiplayer will also be delayed due to, you guessed it, more bugs.

Announced on Twitter yesterday the PC version of Legion Online mode has been delayed due to bugs causing the game to crash. No new date has been given for the release of online mode for the PC version, with Ubisoft just saying, “We will communicate the new date for the PC version. launch as soon as possible. ” Console versions of Watch dogs online are still coming March 9 as announced last month.

While the console versions of Watch Dogs Legion will still be launched in a few days, the Tactical operations missions won’t be available until later this month on the 23rd. These raid-type missions are bigger and more difficult end-game activities that Ubisoft only suggests in groups of four or more.

Oh, and on PlayStation consoles, players will have limited in-game text chat until Ubisoft fixes that as well. So things are a bit buggy overall, regardless of which platform you choose.

Watch Dogs: Legion’s online mode was the first delayed in November of last year due to bugs the team wanted to fix before launching multiplayer modes.

I imagine the dozens of people who were excited to play Watch Dogs Legion online are sad about it. In the meantime, I still need to complete the game after clearing hours of progress right before I get to the end.
