LEGO has once again captured the hearts of car enthusiasts around the world with the release of its new automotive set. The company officially unveils a two-in-one Porsche 911 Turbo and a 911 Targa, bringing together two of the most iconic models of the 1970s and 1980s.

LEGO builders and car fanatics are sure to experience a sense of nostalgia with the 911 Turbo and 911 Targa models. The models are meticulously detailed, channeling the essence of the ubiquitous German sports car. Both Porsches sport all the features of their original make-up, including the aerodynamic shoulder line to the sculpted hood with the easily spotted Porsche emblem, the rear-mounted six-flat boxer engine, and angled headlights.

The two-in-one model allows manufacturers to choose between the classic coupe or convertible style by adding the fixed roof for the 911 Turbo model or the open-top 911 Targa at the same time. Both versions retain their elegant silhouettes and timeless interiors. The sport seats and the 2 + 2 dashboard are built in dark orange and nougat colors, almost entirely reflecting the remarkable contemporary upholstery options of the legendary Porsche 911.

The interior is also something to admire, with a handbrake, shift lever and working steering. Continuing to add to its realistic attributes, the front seats tilt forward so that the rear bench is accessible.

To make the 911 Turbo and Targa easily identifiable, the set comes with distinctive variants of the model. The 911 Turbo sports a Turbo emblem, turbocharger, intercooler and wide rear axle, completed with an integrated rear spoiler. As for the 911 Targa, the Targa Bar highlights the model, with its badge and wraparound brick rear window.

LEGO VIP members can purchase the set from February 16, while others will have to wait until March 1. The LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa are priced at US $ 149.99 and available from LEGO.
