Star Wars fans will be thrilled this spring when LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is coming to Nintendo Switch.
In a recent interview with the official PlayStation magazine, lead game designer Dawn McDiarmid confirmed how many playable characters you will be able to control in this epic saga. There are “about” 300 playable figures and “about 800 unique characters” have all been built.
“There were around 300 playable characters created for this game, but in total around 800 unique characters were created. Our character team did a really amazing job.”
Equally impressive is the number of planets. There are “23 planets / moons” and 28 unique places to explore.
“There are 23 planets / moons with 28 unique locations that the player can visit, each filled with quests, challenges, items, and characters to find. If you have a favorite Star Wars location, chances are you can visit it in-game. “
The delay also appears to have paid off, with McDiarmid mentioning how it allowed the team to “tweak and fine tune systems and features that needed that little extra love.”
