Leslie Jones will not leave her five-year stay and her "second home" on "Saturday Night Live" without saying goodbye.

The Emmy nominee tweeted her gratitude and thank you to the show's fans, writers, cast and creator, Lorne Michaels, who she said.

"Thank you for being my mentor and confidant and always having my back," she continued in a five-part article including a photo montage of several characters that she played during of his years of "SNL". Last week, the news was announced that Jones, 51, was moving away from the NBC comedy show. The comedian turned into an actress began her work on "SNL" as a writer.
