The Yo-Kai Watch games may have existed only for six years, but there are already more than a handful of entries in the series. More recently, Yo-Kai Watch 4 was released in Japan on the Switch and finished at the top of the local video game charts. This is also the first time that an entry is published on a system other than 3DS.
Given this, many newcomers will likely take advantage of Yo-Kai's world for the first time, without any knowledge of the existing versions. Fortunately, Level-5 intends to make the original Yo-Kai watch game available on the switch. This was confirmed during the last episode of the virtual YouTube series of Level-5. The game is expected to arrive next September 20 alongside Ni No Kuni: Anger of the White Witch and the Nintendo Switch Lite.
Other than that, there is no information on what will be the reissue of the original game. This first title made its debut on the 3DS in 2013 and allowed players to discover a world filled with Yo-Kai and unique combat mechanisms. In our review, we gave the game seven stars out of ten.
