LG has launched a pair of game monitors in its UltraGear range. One of the strengths of these new game monitors is that they are allegedly the "world's first 1ms IPS game monitors". In addition, they have attractive high refresh rates, Nvidia G-Sync, excellent color reproduction (98% DCI-P3) and high resolutions. As game monitors, the two new models offer player-specific settings, such as; The dynamic action synchronization mode, the black stabilizer and the reticle can be particularly useful in FPS games.
LG 38GL950G
The 38GL950G is a 38-inch Nano IPS curved monitor with a resolution of 3840 x 1600 pixels (AKA UltraWide QHD +) and a 21: 9 format. Regarding refresh rates, it is a G-Sync certified monitor with the necessary Nvidia hardware built-in.

For starters, this is an Nvidia G-Sync compatible display, so I think it's "just" an Adaptive Sync monitor that has passed Nvidia's tests. It sports a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, HDR10 compatibility, but a maximum brightness of 350 nits.
Hopefully the price tag makes the aforementioned cuts acceptable, as the LG 27GL850 has an MSRP of $ 499. Like his big brother, he will be released next month with pre-orders from 1st July.
