Lil Durk was denied bail on Friday, May 31, just 24 hours after being delivered to Fulton County Jail. According to XXL, Durk thinks he is innocent of the five counts of indictment against him, which stem from a shootout on February 5 in front of The Varsity restaurant in Atlanta. Outside the courthouse, Durk told local media, "I have nothing to hide, I have nothing to run away from."

He also faces charges of aggravated assault, illegal for a person employed by / associated with a criminal street gang to lead / participate in a criminal activity, possession of a firearm at the time of the perpetration of a crime (vgcsa) and possession of a firearm by a convicted criminal.
After canceling shows, Durk is headed to Georgia to get to around 9 pm Eastern Time. His first court appearance is scheduled for Friday, May 31.
OTF affiliate member King Von was detained on May 17 for the same shootings as the Durk charges. He was also charged with aggravated assault, attempted murder, involvement in street gang activities, possession of a firearm by commission for a shooting.

The last known arrest of Lil Durk dates back to 2013, after being accused of throwing a .40 caliber gun into his car when police approached him in Chicago. He was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a criminal and released on bail.
