Lil Nas X Says He Misses ‘P ****’ After Breaking Up With Guy From Music Video

Lil Nas X seems to have teased the possibility of being bisexual – or even playing with the idea that he’s not really gay at all… but context matters, and it’s clear he’s joking after a breakup.

The rapper tweeted on Friday, “That gay shit was fun at first. I miss P **** now,” while adding a sad face emoji. At first glance, this is a pretty shocking statement and could be interpreted as potential big news… that is, if you take it at face value. He seems to be saying, at first glance, that being gay was just a small experience and that he wants to be straight again.

However, he followed up that tweet with another… “it doesn’t matter if he replied by text”. So that was obviously written as a joke – and when you learn that he recently broke up, it all makes sense.

Here’s the deal … LNX revealed this week that he’s actually dated the guy he got comfortable with in his “That’s what I want“video clip – actor-dancer Yai Ariza – but also noted that they had already broken up… but stayed on good terms and might even get back together.

We don’t know how long or when they dated, but anyway… Nas X compared the relationship to the best he’s ever had, and went so far as to say he was still in love with Yai. .

This “p ****” remark follows on from that… and if you know his antics on Twitter, you know he is trolling, which he confirmed shortly thereafter. It’s almost like when straight women joke that they turn lesbian after ending things with a guy. Same idea.

Yet… the original sentiment itself could be seen as problematic and has in fact been denounced in recent times by the LGBT community. You just have to ask Miley Cyrus, who aroused criticism 2 years ago when she said bad men forced her to be gay … something she apologized for.
