WASHINGTON – The Washington Nationals have fired pitching coach Derek Lilliquist on Thursday night.
Paul Menhart, minor league throws coordinator, has been promoted to replace Lilliquist. General Manager Mike Rizzo announced shortly after the Nationals defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 2-1 in a two-and-a-half hour start.
