Singh will debut in September with a new show called "A little late with Lilly Singh," NBC announced Thursday. Samantha Bee and Busy Philipps are hosting their own late-night shows, but Singh will be the only woman to host a show on one of the four major networks.

The Canadian Indian artist will take over from Carson Daly, who broke away from last night's "Last Call with Carson Daly" series last night. The Singh show will air at 1:35 pm and will be a half hour show with guests, comedy sketches and segments. NBC has not yet announced the exact date of its debut.

"A Canadian-Indian with her own late-night show? It's now a dream come true," said Singh in a statement. "I'm excited to bring NBC to life, and I hope my parents consider it as exciting as a grandchild."

The actress appeared Thursday in "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" to talk about her new role at NBC.

"Ya girl gets her own TV show on NBC late at night," Singh told television. "And to clarify, it's not Jimmy's split."

Seth Meyers, host of NBC's "Late Night" show, also made an appearance in "The Tonight Show" while holding a glass of champagne to welcome Singh to the club.

Fallon then asked the three people to take a "cheese family photo" since they are now part of the NBC family late at night.

Singh has more than 14 million subscribers on its YouTube channel under the pseudonym "IISuperwomanII". She has also appeared in such films as "Bad Moms" and the movie "Fahrenheit 451" from HBO. "

Singh wrote the best-selling New York Times book, "How to be a fool: a guide to conquer life".
